Privacy policy
This policy describes XJRMX Backups, operated by Xtreme Jaguar, and its intended authorized backup operation. The utility is currently in setup and qualification. This public information site does not itself connect to Google or activate backup processing.
Information accessed and processed
- Google authorization: OAuth client credentials, access tokens and a refresh token needed to maintain the access granted by the authorized account holder.
- Drive account and storage information: account identifiers, available storage, destination folder identifiers and metadata needed to check the correct backup destination and capacity.
- App-authorized files: backup file identifiers, sizes, verification information, upload results and encrypted file content. The requested
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.filepermission limits access to files the app creates or that the user explicitly authorizes for it. - Backup contents: reservation-system database snapshots may contain customer names, contact details, reservations and related business records. Qualification trials are intended to use synthetic data; they must not be treated as approval to process live customer records.
Purposes
Information is used to authorize backup access, check account and destination identity, assess storage capacity, create and verify recovery copies, diagnose failures and support an authorized restoration. Google user data is not sold or used for advertising or AI model training.
Storage, encryption and access
When enabled, the application host processes the database and temporary snapshot data. Snapshots are encrypted before transfer to Google Drive. The owner is intended to keep the private recovery key outside the service; the service uses its public encryption key. Authorization material must remain in restricted service storage and is not part of this public website.
Google processes authorization requests and stores the files in the account chosen by the owner. Application and website hosting providers process data needed to provide their respective services. Hosting providers may retain ordinary request logs, such as IP address, request time and browser information. Authorized operators may access information as necessary to run, troubleshoot or restore the service, or respond to a legal obligation.
Retention, deletion and revoking access
There is currently no enabled automatic deletion of remote backups. Backup copies may remain until the owner deletes them from Drive, including its Trash, or an approved retention process removes them. Operational records and temporary snapshots may remain on the application host pending authorized cleanup. A final retention schedule must be chosen before ongoing operation.
The account holder can revoke access using Google Account connections. Revoking access stops future authorized access; it does not automatically delete existing Drive backups or service records. The owner can request disconnection, deletion or information about retained copies through the contact below. Any retention required for a legal obligation will be explained when applicable.
Google API data use
Use and transfer of information obtained through Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
